Times of Me
Times of Me is a deeply personal and intimate exploration of self, I draw my body in candid, unposed states; open, honest and unfiltered. In these multiple versions of me, with make-up, bare-faced, cooking, laughing, studying and wearing tears, I present shifts of identity and presence under social gaze. I aim to confront the tension between who I am and who I feel expected to be. For instance, the masks I wear or don’t wear, the parts of me shown or concealed depending on where I am or who I am with. Vulnerability becomes a tool, not as weakness but as layered truth. The work invites the viewer to reflect on how they allow themselves to be seen and what they choose to hide.
