Kouzína

 I view the kitchen not only as the heart and soul of a home but as a site of memory. Kouzína is an illustrative representation of the kitchen spaces that hold personal significance to me and contained the warmest intimate memories with my mother and grandmother from my childhood. To me these spaces evoke a strong sense of love, comfort, nostalgia and belonging. In these spaces I observed, helped, learnt and practiced traditional Greek cooking. Ultimately, this passing down of knowledge and cultural connection to food formed an integral role in shaping my identity.
